Yauco Coffee Festival
Join the town of Yauco, one of Puerto Rico’s historic coffee capitals, as it celebrates its 51st annual Coffee Festival. Taking place over one full week from February 22 to March 1, the festival features daily activities, with the main celebrations unfolding over the weekend of February 27.
Visitors can immerse themselves in Puerto Rico’s rich coffee culture through tastings, demonstrations, and conversations with local farmers who keep the island’s coffee traditions alive. The festival offers something for all ages, including local street food and gastronomy, arts and crafts by regional artisans, and live music throughout the week. The celebration traditionally culminates in a lively troubadour competition known as la trova jíbara or la décima, a beloved musical expression deeply rooted in Puerto Rican culture.
